Happy 20th Anniversary Disney Cruise Line! I had some of my best and worst memories working for DCL and made friends I will remember for the rest of my life. Working on the Dream was one of the hardest but best things I have ever done and I’ll never forget my time there. Disney will always hold a very special place in my heart. The American Immigration Medical Exam is archaic and needs to be updated or done away with all together. I’ve gone through this ordeal twice now and it’s the single most traumatic experience of my life and surely something I will never forget. I would not wish it upon my worst enemy. It’s cruel and outdated. No human should endure the physical pain of the exam itself let alone the humiliation of doing it in front of a room of strangers. I originally was inspired to start the bracelet project one night when I was suffering some very dark sundowners depression after working every day for months straight and not having any sort of free time to myself let alone a social life. I felt very alone and like I had no one in the world. That’s when it occurred to me that there were lots of other people in the world feeling the same way which is silly because when you think really about it we’re actually all together united by this common thread of loneliness. I then started to wonder about all of my friends and family spread out all over the world and hope that each of them was happy in that moment and in a good place in their lives. If these people all cross my mind just maybe I cross theirs too.

Everyone and anyone that knows me knows I can’t cook nor do I like to cook. This past Christmas 2017 was my first time hosting the Cannell Family Christmas at my house. Therefore, I had to take on the challenge of cooking my first every Christmas Dinner.

Mr. T taught me in grade 5 at Monterey Elementary School 2001-2002. Personally that year was one of my most difficult as I was dealing with some pretty severe health issues and had been placed in a different class from all of my friends.

Turn off all caffeine by 2:00pm. instead drink peppermint tea or camomile tea. Every night at around 9:00pm I drink a tea “Yogi: Restful Sleep”. It is the best.

Ever since I could remember I have experienced depression, anxiety and OCD. Even as a toddler I had to line up all my toys in my playroom and bedroom before bed each night or I would have too much anxiety to fall asleep.

I find nothing more satisfying and inspiring than driving around Los Angeles at 2:00AM. There is something magical about speeding around in the silence knowing that in the daytime it's one of the busiest and most bustling cities in the world.
